The first exercise was back-and-forth, this one is up-and-down, good to refresh circulation in the legs and get the heart pumping. Based on a Dao Yin exercise.
This is the first of a series of exercises to help you be a pain-free screen slave. They are simple exercises that tone your neck, hands, eyes, and lower back. No equipment, special clothing, or space needed. For this first one, I’m indebted to Lee Holden.

My women’s choir sang once at a women’s prison. The choir members were conservative, liberal, and apolitical, Catholic, Jewish, Orthodox, and atheist, old, young, gay and straight, yet they all felt they were contributing something meaningful to the inmates’ lives.
Finding a routine that can be sustained indefinitely, or changed every week, was a creative challenge, but we’re old enough to do what we like and not give a damn, right?
