Staring at a screen for along time, the chest naturally relaxes inward, restricting your breathing. These breathing exercises will introduce a rush of oxygen which will reinvigorate you if you’re tired, and the single nostril breathing is remarkably calming.
Exercise to relax hands and eyes
This is the first of a series of exercises to help you be a pain-free screen slave. They are simple exercises that tone your neck, hands, eyes, and lower back. No equipment, special clothing, or space needed. For this first one, I’m indebted to Lee Holden.
